Oklahoma Highway Patrol

As the principal statewide law enforcement agency in Oklahoma, the State Patrol is dedicated to providing quality policing directed at achieving safer roadways and reducing crime through pro-active investigations, education and patrol services and by providing leadership and resources during natural disasters, civil disorders and critical incidents.

The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety

Since its formation in 1937, the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety (DPS) has grown into a multi-service safety and law enforcement organization. DPS is led by the Commissioner of Public Safety, who is appointed by the Governor, with the approval of the Oklahoma State Senate. The department is staffed by nearly 1500 civilian and uniformed employees across the state.

THE AMERICAN POLICE HALL OF FAME AND MUSEUM

The American Police Hall of Fame and Museum, through interactive displays, simulators and nearly 11,000 artifacts, educates the public about the history and current trends of American law enforcement.

The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial

The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial is centered in the 400 block of E Street, NW, Washington, DC and is the nation’s monument to law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty. Dedicated on October 15, 1991, the Memorial honors federal, state and local law enforcement officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice for the safety and protection of our nation and its people.

The Officer Down Memorial Page, Inc., (ODMP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring America's fallen law enforcement heroes.
